Who Is Stealing Our Grapes?

We grow delicious, seeded grapes at the Compost Demonstration Garden in Vancouver BC. Staff and visitors make grape juice from the fruit. However, at this time of year (september), just as they ripen, we find grapes scattered on the ground beneath the old vines that grow on a pergola.

Early in the morning yesterday, I came to work very early and was startled to hear loud rustling in the leaves above the pergola. Bandits!!

Some of our delicious green grapes are going missing every night at the Vancouver Compost Garden. Who is responsible?
